  1. Cheap could refer to them getting a good interest rate from the bank on those bigger purchases that use financing (like a house or car) not the overall price of the things

  2. lmaoo, i love how both of you guys dont understand gen z slang yet, its hilarious watching you guys have a difficult time understanding but i love the comments you made about the finances. it really helped me understand some things a little more.

  3. well I used max 60% on my total credit, and as soon as coronavirus happened, my score started going down. I had no debt in covid because i was unsure what was going to happen, so I decided to live off my credit card and put my wage into bitcoin, then pay off the minimum every month. Under a year later I have defaulted on my credit cards, but I have plenty of bitcoin, and no interest to pay. Currently dealing with debt collectors, but made an agreement to pay off so much a month. I don't recommend it, I got lucky.

  4. Can someone please explain me how buying real estate is a way of hedging an inflated marked? I don't see how that would work out well.

  5. My friends children had trouble just getting bank accounts for their wages as teenagers. They luckily got their grandpa to help, my friend couldn't co-own them or she would have lost her benefits. America is weird.

  6. My bank offers funds where you can invest in real estate with very little money. It's basically like investing into a index fund, but rather than companies you own a tiny part of bunch of buildings.

  7. Hey Guys…it would be a great idea if you make a video called "what should you do before start investing" things like -create an emergency fund, everyone talks about investing but I would like to know what to do before investing.Thank you.

  8. 15:14 I love options! However, you said the only way to create income through options is to sell covered calls. Selling cash secured puts is the method I use. I use a porton of my account to sell put options on companies and index funds I want to own anyway. I don't cap my upside in this way and also generate a nice amount of income in the process. If I do happen to get assigned those shares I will sell calls on them until they are taken away. I treat the shares as a source of income, keep them separate from my core shares, and don't care if they get sold. Rinse and repeat.

It's so sad to see people cringe when somebody even mentions the word options. People give them a bad wrap selling naked calls or buying lottery ticket options trying to score 1000% return in a week. Used conservatively they can be a nice way to increase cash flow.

  9. Even Pink Floyd had more of a point. Post-WWII education was very industrial standard and limited general knowledge in exchange for industrial specializations (like accounting and construction over STEM) forced upon kids, removing the chance for kids to determine their own future and "being another brick in the wall". This guy is saying that high school is useless because it doesn't teach you how to make "fast money". Very different take

  10. Education vs being schooled. Huge difference. Guy clearly needs some education for what he was saying. Learning from books and mentors is education… being schooled is earning useless degrees.

  11. Money Guys I have a question how does taxes work in house hacking situation as in don't u have to also count the tax-payments as of income tax? So woman at 5:16 didn't truely earn 200 usd / month am i correct or wrong?

  12. I think the education guy was saying what most people that say "dont stay in school" or something else are saying: you still need some of the basics, but a big big part of the mandatory curriculum is virtually useless to most people. and on the other hand there are a lot of things that should be core, that aren't like money skills, like mental health or dealing with mental illness, like filing your taxes, first aid…

I do like maths quite a lot, but even I have to admit that most people wont ever need advanced maths in their daily lives.

  13. Question regarding credit score, is it better to spend a little bit of it or just have it there without ever touching it, which option would get me more credit score?

  14. How you rent a room and not know your roommate was your landlord? Who gave you the lease to sign?
Also not sure how people get into buying duplexes to househack with. Getting both the units of a duplex usually costs about the same as just buying 2 family homes of the same size of each duplex. I rarely see both units for sale together too, usually each unit is sold individually.

  15. With regard to the education statement. I live in oregon and now our high schoolers dont need to know how to read write or do math as a requirement to graduate…. so i might have to agree with the tiktokker on this one

  16. Bonjour from Montreal! My husband and I just discovered you guys and we are having such a good laugh at some of the Tiktok video🤦🏻‍♀️😂! He works in Capital Markets and I'm a business owner! You guys are doing a tremendous job!

  17. The woman with the condo could easily have blown it. Repairs and maintenance could easily wipe out $200/month in profit. She got lucky with that appreciation, too. I guarantee you thousands of people did the exact same thing she did back in 2006 and went bankrupt.
